Internationally beloved children's author and illustrator Kevin Henkes was born and raised right here in Racine. Henkes and his siblings grew up with the Racine Public Library's storytimes, joining us for the wonderful tales woven by the late librarian and storyteller Peg Martin. Since then, Henkes has become an accomplished storyteller of his own. Join us to celebrate Henkes and his work.
