Valerie has more than a decade of experience in healing work and apprenticeships in Indigenous healing methods.

Valerie's qualifications include a PhD in social work, on Indigenous trauma healing, and certifications in mediation and restorative justice.

Through a 52-week journey of reflections, practical exercises, Indigenous storytelling and knowledge-sharing, this book will support you to respectfully connect with your own ancestors and ancestors of the lands where you live, whether you identify as Indigenous or not.

It will close with a short discussion of some ways to intentionally integrate Indigenous science into daily life and open to some Q&A.
