Author Talk with Katherine Grandjean: Kingdom of Devils Book

Join the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA) on Thursday, October 1, at 5 p.m. for an engaging author talk with Katherine Grandjean, author of Kingdom of Devils: A Tale of M**der in the Shadow of the American Revolution.
Grandjean will discuss her book, which explores a series of complex murders committed by the Harp brothers across Kentucky in the time period following the American Revolution. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear about Grandjean's research and the history that inspired her work. Following the program, the author will be available to sign books. Poor Richard's Books will be on site with books available to purchase.
This is a free event, but registration is required. Please RSVP through Eventbrite so we can track attendance and prepare accordingly.

Info: Katherine is an Associate Professor of History at Wellesley College. She has been the recipient of several major research fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the American Antiquarian Society, and the American Council of Learned Societies, among others. Her first book, American Passage, was published in 2015. Her newest book, Kingdom of Devils: A Tale of M**der in the Shadow of the American Revolution, investigates a long-forgotten series of murders on the Revolutionary American frontier.
