We're thrilled to host Heidi Morrison, a local La Crosse author and UWL professor! She will be discussing her book--Lived Resistance: Against the War on Palestinian Children.
This book examines how children endure and survive in war, as seen through the case study of Palestine. Palestinian children tend to be stereotyped as helpless victims or dangerous terrorists. This book provides a look into how the children see themselves and struggle to rebuild their lives amongst ongoing war.
There will be a discussion, some readings from her book, a Q&A, along with a chance to purchase a book and have it signed by Heidi.
