Dr. Gordon Walker is an award-winning speaker, science communicator, published author, and social media star (@fascinatedbyfungi ) with over 3 million cumulative followers.  He has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Davis where his research focused on the microbial ecology of wine fermentations, bioprocess control, and yeast genetics.
