David Schaeffer, whose late parents (William B. “Bill” and Mary Schaeffer) were one-time Grace members, will be leading a discussion of his book Letters from Sweden which is about his parents' love story and life. In his words, "This non-fiction book tells the true story of my father’s quest to find a wife, to survive the war (Battle of the Bulge and invasion of Germany – where he was injured), find his place in the ministry, and sustain and grow his love for his fiancée back in Greenville (my mother) through hundreds of romantic and Godly letters from Sweden."
