Author Talk with Artur Kirsch

Join celebrity hairstylist and author Artur Kirsh for catered appetizers and storytelling from his book, 1,000 Questions Behind the Chair on Thursday, August 21 from 7-8PM. Join us for an evening of storytelling, mingling, and book browsing. All participants will enjoy 10% off books in-store during the event. This event will take place at Mavey Books 8 Cricket Ave, Ardmore PA. Tickets required to join.

It’s not the therapist's couch; it is even more relaxing, it is your hairstylist's chair. While hair is being cut, colored, and styled, conversation flows like freshly blown-out tresses. Kirsh invited his clients to anonymously write a question, thought, or inspiration on a sticky note and leave it in a box. The questions range from humorous to salacious and everything in between. He said, “My inspiration was to create a book that you don’t have to read from cover to cover, something that was fun and that would create conversation and the opportunity to laugh out loud.”

Books will be available for purchase and signing on-site.
