Ballard Branch, in partnership with It's About Time, hosts Seattle writer Stacey Levine is the author of five books of uniquely original voice-driven fiction. Her novel MICE 1961, won the American Book was a 2025 Pulitzer Prize Finalist. The novel concerns a young woman bullied for her albinism during the Cold War era. She received a Genius Award from The Stranger in 2009 and her works have all been nominated for Washington State Book Awards. https://www.spl.org/event-calendar.
