About this Event
As part of our exploration of different forms of writing, join Alex Stone in conversation with writer/director Scott Newman and producer Joseph Mellor for an insight into the art of writing for the screen. Together they will discuss the journey from script to production, the collaborative filmmaking process, and the creative decisions that bring stories to life on screen.
The evening will conclude with a screening of the short film Lest We Forget (17 mins), followed by audience questions.
Evening Schedule:
- 6:30pm – Networking & drinks
- 7:00–8:30pm – In Conversation with our guest author (includes a short intermission)
- 8:30pm onwards – Informal networking and a chance to chat with this month’s guest
