In collaboration with Browsers Bookshop, we are thrilled to welcome David Guterson to discuss his latest book Evelyn in Transit. David will be in conversation with Olympia's own Nikki McClure -- a true meeting of PNW literary heavyweights! Books will be available for purchase and signing.
About the book (Evelyn in Transit):
Radically open-minded, formidably strong, and unusually clear-eyed about herself and others, Evelyn Bednarz has always been a misfit. Seeking to be true to herself, she hitchhikes across the American West taking odd jobs.

Presenter bios:
David Guterson is the author of thirteen books, including the PEN/Faulkner Award winner Snow Falling on Cedars, which was made into a major motion picture, translated into twenty–five languages, and has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide. He lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
Author and illustrator Nikki McClure makes books about her home in Olympia. She has published a calendar every year since 1998. She met David Guterson by inviting him to a music show on the beach where the ticket to attend was a clam shell. There is a Browser’s bookshelf reserved for her titles.
