Join local author Bruce Turner as he discusses his new book Tears Near the Banks of the Nepean.
The people of the Nepean Valley have experienced scandals, tragedies, crooks and controversies throughout its history since 1788. Bruce will discuss some of the 72 events covered in his book, from political scandals, economic downturns, corruption, crime and natural disasters.
Bruce's family have lived continuously in the Nepean Valley for eight generations, helping to shape the area we know today.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
Free, bookings are essential.
