Gold Coast Libraries is thrilled to host award-winning author Kathy George for a conversation with Jennifer Dudley-Nicholson. Kathy's latest novel, The Scent of Oranges, reimagines Oliver Twist through the eyes of Nancy, offering a fresh take on the beloved classic.

Kathy’s literary works, including Sargasso and Estella, are inspired by legendary authors like Charles Dickens and Daphne du Maurier. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Australian Gothic Literature and has been published widely in literary journals. She has won the Hal Porter Short Story Award, and is based in Brisbane.
