Join us at the Walker House Museum on Saturday, September 20th, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm for a presentation by local author and historian Sylvia Hasbury.
Sylvia Hasbury is an author and a Research Co-Ordinator at the Bruce County Genealogical Society. Her work with the Bruce County Genealogical Society has given her great insight into some of Bruce County’s families and the fascinating stories that unfold. Her book, John Gentles in Kincardine: The History of a Town through the Eyes of a Gentleman, touches on John Gentles, a man who lived in Kincardine most of his life and was a prize-winning harness racer.
