Since the completion of investigating 37 capital murder cases, Susan has focused on writing a selection of PI and mitigation stories, Southern Lies and Homicides: Tales of Betrayal and Murder.
Susan takes readers inside her life as a private investigator in the South, from routine process service to volatile domestic disputes, capital murder cases, and even the execution of a client she once cared for.
After relocating to rural Alabama, she used her skills as a journalist to break into investigative work and quickly built her own practice.
