About the Author

John Scalzi is an American science fiction author and former president of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. He is best known for his Old Man's War series, three novels of which have been nominated for the Hugo Award. He has also written other science fiction novels including Redshirts, Fuzzy Nation and Starter Villain. Creative Consultant for the Stargate: Universe television series. Writer for the video game Midnight Star, by Industrial Toys. Scalzi has won prizes including the Hugo award for best novel, and the John W Campbell Award.

About the Book:

For a decade, peace has reigned in interstellar space.
