Whether you're a comics enthusiast, an educator, or an artist who gets jazzed to discuss the creative process, there's something for you in Ryan Claytor's monumental book, One Bite at a Time.
On Saturday, 11/9, we're hosting Ryan at A Novel Concept for the final stop on his book release tour! Join us for discussion, book signing, and an afternoon of community starting at 4:30 p.m.
Ryan is a comics artist and MSU professor. His award-winning books include A Hunter's Tale, Coin-Op Carnival, an autobiographical comic series And Then One Day, and many more successfully self-published works dating back to 2004.
About One Bite at a Time, Ryan writes:
"This book, in addition to outlining my 20-year growth as an artist, is an outgrowth of my interest in sharing artistic process and demystifying making."
One Bite at a Time is a love letter to the reciprocal relationship among creative practice, craft, and teaching.
