Author Event - Cayenne Sirois
7 November from 12-2pm
About the book:
Stuck in a meaningless job, Eight is treading water in life until a car accident leaves her in a coma. Suddenly, she finds herself in the “Between” with a small group of strangers and an enigmatic immortal being named Sintra. Eight and the others have the opportunity to return to their lives—as long as they survive a series of tribulations devised by Sintra. Untrusting of the mysterious immortal, their resolve will be tested as they grapple with the tribulations while balanced on the precipice of life and death. Failure to survive means being ushered to the “After”—a place of peace…supposedly.

She’s a huge tea drinker, loves cats and dogs equally and dreams of adventure and travel when she’s not working. She currently lives in Anchorage, Alaska, but her first true home was Tucson, Arizona. She moved to Alaska shortly after graduating from the University of Arizona in dietetics and nutrition. Also, if you were wondering, yes—she was named after the pepper.
