🚗 Route 66 is America’s 2,400-mile Main Street! Since 1926, it’s inspired songs, movies, books, and countless travelers — stretching from Chicago to Los Angeles across eight states and three time zones.
🎨 Elise Zoller, a classically trained realist painter, has spent years standing on Main Street, painting what she saw and capturing the stories of the people she met. Her book, Standing on Main Street: The Story of America’s Route 66 in Paintings is now available. She’ll share some of her paintings and stories from the road.
