Author of The Cardinal and The Crow
Dani has been writing poetry and stories since elementary school. A lot of her work is inspired by life’s cyclical nature—each birth, each ending, and every word and experience in between. This first poetry collection, The Cardinal and The Crow, explores the constant evolution of the human experience, touching on themes of transformation, resilience, and renewal. Through poignant imagery and lyrical reflections, she invites readers to journey through life’s inevitable changes and the quiet strength found in embracing them.
Inspired by her late mother, Angela, Dani's work resonates with readers who seek depth and introspection. When not writing, she can be found painting (the cover is her own work), teaching art, performing flow arts, or involved at the community theatre. She is thrilled to share The Cardinal and The Crow with readers and looks forward to connecting over its pages.
