Spinner Publications Celebrates 45 Years of Publishing with a series of Author Talks!

Author Ben Shattuck is coming in person to chat about his captivating book, The History of Sound. On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, Spinner Publications will host author Ben Shattuck at the Wamsutta Club, 427 County Street, New Bedford, MA, from 6pm to 8:30pm. Ben will talk about the journey that led him to write his latest book, The History of Sound: Stories, and explore its complex themes, including the deep connections between love, loss, and history. This engaging and informative talk will include a Q&A session with the audience.
