Join us for an exciting and informative symposium on the origins of Jab Jab and Ole Mas, tracing their roots from Africa to Europe and the Caribbean. Special guest speaker "Bombo D Jab" from Grenada and historian LaTasha Sy-Rah Faty will lead a fun, interactive presentation on traditional carnival characters that form the heart of Caribbean carnival. Hosted by international artist and educator Empress J, this is an event you won't want to miss!
