Australian Story Live: Celebrating 30 Years

To mark three decades of extraordinary stories, ABC’s Australian Story presenter Leigh Sales will host a 90-minute live show, bringing together some of the program's most unforgettable participants, interwoven with highlights from the archives.
The lineup features actor and producer Claudia Karvan, Olympic champion Michael Klim, community leader Mechelle Turvey, inspirational math’s teacher Eddie Woo, farmers Gayle and Mac Shann and the woman who started it all, founding executive producer Deborah Fleming.
Tim Minchin and Alex Lloyd will each deliver a live performance, and Astrid Jorgensen will bring the house together for a rousing Pub Choir singalong.
The event will also be recorded and broadcast as a special Australian Story episode on Monday 31 August at 8pm on ABC TV and ABC iview.
