The Australian Physiology Competition (APC) is back for 2026 - bringing together med students from across the country for a full day of fast-paced physiology, teamwork, and healthy academic rivalry. Hosted by the winners of last year’s APC on their home soil, it promises to activate your sympathetic nervous system like never before.
📅 Date and Time: Saturday 13th June, roughly from 9am - 3pm
📍 Location: The University of Sydney (hybrid option available for the team rounds, for teams outside of Sydney ONLY!)
The day will consist of an individual true/false Physiology quiz and tournament-style rounds! Food and refreshments provided!
The winning team will score fully subsidised tickets to represent their Uni, and in turn Australia, at the 2026 Inter-Medical School Physiology Competition held in Kuala Lumpur in September! There are over $300 worth of prizes on offer too for the top physiologists in the individual rounds.
Teams of 3-4 medical students or undergraduate double degree medical students are welcome to register!
Registration Fees:
In-Person (Sydney-Based) Teams:
Early bird registration: $25pp - closes 11:59pm Sunday 24th May (EXTENDED TO SUNDAY 31ST MAY)
Standard registration: $30pp - closes 11:59pm Sunday 7th June
Online Participants (must be outside of Sydney): $10 per person. Online participants will only be competing in the team rounds, not the individual True-False quiz, and must all be present together in one enclosed room.
