Australian Internet Governance Forum (auIGF) 2026
About this Event
The Australian Internet Governance Forum (auIGF) 2026 will bring together people from across government, industry, civil society, academia and the technical community to discuss the Internet governance and public policy issues shaping Australia’s digital future.
Held in Canberra and online from 22–23 September 2026, auIGF is Australia’s national Internet Governance Forum. Modelled on the global Internet Governance Forum, it provides an open and inclusive platform for diverse perspectives, practical discussion and stronger cooperation across stakeholder groups.
This year’s theme, A resilient Internet for all Australians, will guide conversations on how Australia can support an open, secure, trusted and inclusive Internet in a rapidly changing digital environment.
auIGF 2026 is an opportunity to hear from leading voices, contribute to policy discussions, connect with others working across the digital ecosystem, and help shape a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Whether you work in technology, public policy, regulation, cybersecurity, online safety, digital inclusion, academia, civil society or the broader Internet community, auIGF offers a space to learn, contribute and collaborate.
Register now to join auIGF 2026 in person at QT Canberra or online.
