The Aurora International Folk Festival celebrates the traditional aspects of the Maltese islands and other international communities. It showcases traditional and folkloristic dance, music and celebrations which were commonplace in the past. This festival, first took place in the 1980s. After a long hiatus it returned in 2018. It will take place at Cathedral Square on the 17th and 18th October, and in Villa Rundle Gardens on Sunday 20th.
