Join Darlene Brace for a powerful, hands-on Auricular Acu-Technician (AAT) Training designed to equip you with the skills, confidence, and trauma-informed foundation to offer the 5-point ear acupuncture protocol in your community or professional setting.For the AcuDetox AcuWellness Certification training, we welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are passionate about bringing this powerful resilience and empowerment tool into their work and communities. This training is open to all professionals, volunteers, and peer supporters who want to expand their healing impact.
This training blends evidence-informed practice, nervous system work, and culturally responsive approaches, making it ideal for clinicians, peer specialists, wellness practitioners, and anyone supporting healing in group or community environments. With nearly a decade of experience using this protocol personally and professionally, Darlene brings a grounded, accessible teaching style that weaves together mindfulness, polyvagal-informed care, recovery-focused principles, and community wellness.
Participants will learn:
The 5-point protocol for stress, trauma, and addiction support
How to safely and effectively administer ear acupuncture in group or individual settings
The history, ethics, cultural roots, and community-care philosophy behind AcuDetox
Practical skills for integrating AAT into treatment programs, groups, retreats, and wellness spaces
How to create a calm, regulated, and supportive healing environment
You’ll leave with everything you need to begin offering this simple, low-cost, high-impact intervention—one that supports emotional regulation, reduces anxiety, aids recovery, and strengthens community connection.
Whether you’re building your somatic toolkit or expanding your healing offerings, this AAT training opens the door to a modality that is deeply grounding, evidence-informed, and accessible across cultures and communities.
After completing this 3-day AcuDetox certification training, you’ll engage in about 25–30 hours of guided self-study (materials provided). Once you complete 40 supervised treatments in the community, you’ll be officially certified to offer AcuDetox AcuWellness in Colorado and will receive the credential “Auricular Acu-Technician (AAT).
