After years of gathering in and around Santa Rosa Beach, Emerald Coast Storytellers has begun expanding west. Our Fort Walton Beach series is officially underway, and we’re excited to continue building a new chapter—bringing new voices, new stories, and a new community around the mic.
Join us at The Craft Bar- Destin — A gathering space in the heart of Destin — where craft cocktails meet coastal energy, and live storytelling turns strangers into something more familiar. An evening where everyday moments feel a little more meaningful, and stories are shared together, in real time.

August's theme: Take It To The Grave
Some truths become part of the architecture of who we are.
Not the polished stories we tell at parties — the quieter ones. The betrayals we justified. The crush we never admitted to. The memory that still flashes back at inconvenient moments. The thing we swore we’d never tell anyone and maybe still won’t.
Sometimes these stories stay hidden because they’re painful. Sometimes because they’re precious. Sometimes because speaking them aloud would change something forever.
This month is about buried truths, private loyalties, unresolved feelings, and the stories people carry long after they stop speaking them out loud.
The secrets that became part of us.
The moments that quietly redirected a life.
The things we protected, denied, rehearsed, romanticized, or locked away.
Not every story wants daylight. But even the hidden ones leave fingerprints.
