🚗 Meeting Spot & Parking: We will meet at the McKee Marsh parking lot on the north side of Mack Road, just east of Route 59. Please enter from Mack Road and look for the parking lot near McKee Marsh. We will meet near the trail entrance before starting our hike together.
Join us for our August Pack hike at Blackwell Forest Preserve!
This month we’ll explore one of DuPage County’s most unique natural areas. Scouts will learn how glaciers shaped our landscape, discover the story of the woolly mammoth fossils found nearby, and explore the woods and wetlands of Blackwell.
🥾 Distance: Approximately 3 miles (family-friendly pace)
🌎 Theme: Glaciers, geology & local history
🎒 Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray
All Pack families are welcome! Younger Scouts and siblings are encouraged to join.
We’ll meet at 2:00 PM and hike together. Come explore, learn, and enjoy the outdoors with your fellow Scouts!
