August Out to Lunch Talk: Faith, Charity & Volunteerism on the Homefront

Connecting to our new exhibit, "Fighting for Our Nation: and using the lens of the Civil War, this talk will look at Elmira's contributions to the war efforts. Volunteers from Elmira's Civil War Prison Camp will talk about military recruiting, participation, and civilian support activities. This event is free and will take place at CCHS noon on August 12. We invite you to bring your lunch and we'll provide light refreshments.
