August Full Moon Hike - The Sturgeon Moon

August - Sturgeon Moon:
Under the glow of the August Sturgeon Moon, the park comes alive in a whole new way. The air is warm, the crickets sing, and the trails wind ahead, lit by the full moon’s brilliant glow. We’ll walk together through the woods, meadows, and wetlands, with the scent of pine and damp earth rising with each step. This moon got its name from the big sturgeon fish that were once easily spotted in lakes and rivers this time of year, which is a quiet reminder of how nature moves in rhythm with the seasons.
Ages 12+
Residents - $12, Nonresidents - $16
Pre-registration is mandatory; no walk-ins accepted
