August Environmental Symbiosis Meeting

Please join our hosts Grifols and Novo Nordisk to learn about environmental challenges and initiatives at their sites and to explore opportunities for industry and other partners to work together for solutions. This event is supported by the NC Department of Environmental Quality’s Environmental Stewardship Initiative and the RTP chapter of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals.

The meeting will take place in the Discovery room at the Development Center and refreshments will be provided by our hosts.

Agenda/topics:

• How to conduct and report Energy and Water Balances for large industrial sites.
• Grifols and Novo Nordisk will discuss the methods used and findings from the 2024 energy and water balance.
• Grifols will present its efforts to make the SWP3, SPCC, SLUG, and BMP available electronically.
