The Northwest Indiana Bike-N-Brew is a fun, laid-back ride on a paved bike trail through Highland and Hammond. The ride is 14 miles in total with a few hills/overpasses, street crossings, and brief street riding. Average speed is between 10-15 MPH. Total time riding is around 40 minutes, with 3 to 4 hours of relaxing, eating, and drinking great beer.
The $25 participation fee includes the hosted ride, reserved seating at breweries, and a complimentary beer at each location (beer options may vary).
All locations are bike-friendly with bike racks and indoor/outdoor seating.
Your ride host will have a first aid kit, a bike repair kit, and expert knowledge of the trails and all crossings.
You do not need an expensive bike or fancy gear to participate, but you do need to be 21 with a valid ID.
