With strong performances and impactful storytelling, it’s a must-see for anyone who appreciates thought-provoking theater.
This production is presented as part of the Latino Theater Company’s Impact Initiative, in association with the Los Angeles City College Theatre Academy. More than just entertainment, the Impact Initiative provides free access to theater for all students across the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), empowering them to engage with the arts through live performances, master classes, and artist discussions. This partnership creates a vital platform for students to connect with their community and explore social issues through the power of theater.
August 29 takes the audience on an emotional journey through one of the most significant social movements in American history.
