This is the August 2026 membership meeting of the Nutmeg Division of the National Model Railroad Association. Details will be added closer to the meeting date.

9:15AM - Socialize, donuts, review modeling efforts and general announcements scrolling video
9:45AM - Division business, modelers showcase
10:15AM - Clinic #1, "The Shay—More than a Logging Loco" by Steven Meyer
11:00AM - White Elephant: distribution of the items from the RPI/NEB&W layout
11:15AM - Clinic #2, "Making Round Things" by Dave Ackmann
12:00PM - Clinics end, depart for layout tours
1:00PM - Layout #1, George Sebastian-Coleman’s Alpine Tunnel District.
* George's Alpine Tunnel District models a section of the Denver, South Park, and Pacific Railroad in the spring of 1884. The On3 layout depicts Gunnison (end of the mainline), the climb up the Palisades to the Alpine Tunnel and then down Chalk Creek through the Romley and St. Elmo.

* For this meeting only, we request that attendees DO NOT bring items for the white elephant table, as we have a special lot of models which will be reviewed and available for purchase.
