We will be holding our August membership meeting at Doug Clemons’ place (15 E Guy St Glen Carbon). Sean Daenzer will host the meeting and we will have the opportunity to inspect Sean’s hives on site. We may also have the opportunity to do some queen marking and a mite wash. We will also be discussing how to prepare hives for winter in the coming months.
The club will be providing a main dish for the potluck (tbd). We ask that you bring a side dish or dessert to share at the meeting.
Also please bring a chair and bring protective gear if you are wanting to participate in the hive inspection activities.
