Avalon Bird Town is excited to welcome Community Conservation Coordinator Nick Stahlman from the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania to give a presentation about the Certified Backyard Habitat program! He will be highlighting the benefits of creating a Certified Backyard Habitat, no matter the size of the space you have. Also, he will give information on how residents could qualify for funds designated for native plants for their space.
We will also be highlighting existing Certified Backyard Habitat’s in our boroughs! If you are going through the process, please reach out so you can be featured!
