~Callbacks: Dec. 4th, 2024 starting at 6pm~
(There will be no dance callbacks. Singing & Reading ONLY)
Location: The Marion Civic Center
800 Tower Square Plz. Marion, IL
CASTING: Ages 16-up.
About the show: The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
What to prepare: 16-32 Measures of a song in the style of the
show & a short monologue is encouraged. (A
monologue will/can be provided if you do not
have one prepared).
*Please no ACAPELLA auditions*
~An accompanist and speaker/phone connection will be provided~
~Please bring a list of all possible rehearsal conflicts you might have. Rehearsal schedules will be created with provided conflicts
in mind as much as possible~
