It’s baaaaaaaack! Our most popular show, "Villains and Vixens: Musical Cabaret" returns in 2026! This show has been running off and on since 2015 and getting bigger and better every time! There will be new songs, new villains, and new tricks & treats! Villains Volume 8 will feature hilarious parody songs sung by your favorite villains from pop culture, movies, and TV!

TO SIGN UP FOR AN AUDITION SPOT: Email [email protected] along with a headshot, resume, and youtube links to your karaoke tracks. If you don’t your song choices yet, no problem! We’ll be checking in closer to the auditions.
WHAT TO PREPARE: A verse and chorus of a rock, pop, or musical theater song that best showcases your talent. We would prefer the song be comedic in nature (or a villain song) since this is a comedic production. Bring an extra verse and chorus of a contrasting song just in case we'd like to hear more. When emailing us for an audition spot, please also email us a youtube link to your karaoke tracks. We may do video callbacks as necessary.
VIDEO AUDITIONS: We WILL be accepting video auditions. Email us at [email protected] for details on how to submit. Video auditions are due Monday June 8th at 2pm.
DANCE AUDITION: An easy version of the “Thriller” dance (which will be the show’s full cast closing number) that we’ll have you do for us in person at your audition. Tutorial video :
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We’ll be looking for versatile comedic vocalists/actors. You’ll be playing multiple villains and characters throughout the show, so flexibility in musical styles, ability to do fast costume and make up changes, and great comedic timing are essential. We do have a few characters for kids 12 and up for this production so please feel free to bring your “villain in training” to audition for us.
SPECIAL NOTE: We are all about non-traditional casting. Even if a character is traditionally "female" or "male" or has a particular age range assigned to it, you may still be considered for the role if you are a great fit! In the past we’ve done a lot of gender bending of characters and had actors play a variety of genders.
CONFLICTS : Actors are permitted 3 pre-approved rehearsal conflicts per show and they can NOT be on any of the “mandatory” dates or show dates listed. This is non-negotiable. More than 1 unexcused absence will result in the actor being removed from the production. Any no show/no call absence will result in the actor being removed from the production. We have a very short rehearsal process and it hurts the entire production when actors are habitually absent.
REHEARSALS: Actors may not be required to be at every rehearsal or for the entire duration of a rehearsal. We will have a more detailed rehearsal schedule once we cast the show and see peoples’ pre-approved conflicts. Another note, we only rehearse on Sunday evenings for several months and then add more rehearsals as we get closer to showtime. If you are the type of person that needs to rehearse every night of the week for 4 months straight in order to get your part down, this is NOT the company for you. We expect actors to come prepared and do work on their own to polish their lines and choreo. It's a short rehearsal process and has been challenging for some actors in the past who are used to more traditional community theater schedules.

DISCLAIMERS:
- Actors will be required to help with “strike” (venue clean-up and tearing down the set) This usually only takes a few hours and is very minimal, as well as some clean up between dress/techs and weekends.
- Actors may be asked to provide some costume pieces from their own wardrobe such as shoes and undergarments like tights.
- Actors may need to provide some of their own basic stage make up. We will provide specialty make up and prosthetics as needed.
