Ready for your moment in the spotlight? Stratton Players is casting for our upcoming spring production featuring two hilarious and sharp one-act plays. Whether you're a stage veteran or a newcomer looking to try something new, we want to see you!We are looking for men and women aged 17 and older to fill a variety of roles, varying in age, across both scripts.
Audition Dates & Times
- Sunday, February 1st: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Monday, February 2nd: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Note: You only need to attend one of the two nights to be considered. No need to bring a prepared monologue—we just want to see your personality shine!
The Shows
"The Whole Shebang" What if the entire universe was actually just a student's senior thesis project? This witty comedy follows a young "creator" as he defends his work (the Earth and its... interesting inhabitants) to a panel of skeptical professors. It’s a metaphysical riot that asks the big questions while making us laugh at the small ones.
"Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" A sharp and relatable look at the complexities of modern love. This play explores the funny, awkward, and sometimes absurd reality of ending a relationship. It's high-energy, fast-paced, and perfectly captures the "drama" of letting go.
What to Expect
Cold Reads: No memorization required! We will provide excerpts from the scripts for you to read during the audition.
Vibe: We aim for a supportive, low-stress environment. We want you to succeed (mostly so we have a great show, but also because we're nice people).
Performance Dates: Mark your calendars for April 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th 2026!
