Follow Demers Avenue to auditions for The Wizard of Oz - Musical! The Empire Theatre Company opens its 15th season: From Page to Stage with this classic for all ages.
Seeking children ages 8-11 with stage experience for Munchkins, and actors 16 and older for ensemble and principal roles.
Auditions will consist of singing 32-bars of a musical theatre song. Please provide own accompaniment. An electric keyboard will be provide.

Auditions will begin with youth and continue through adult.
*If unable to attend the in-person auditions, you are invited to submit a video audition, resume, and head shot. Fill out the audition form and follow instructions for submitting your materials.
Directors: Maren Dewar has over a decade directing musicals for high school and SPA and is an experienced choreographer.
Ryan King will serve as musical director and hold a Master's degree in vocal pedagogy from UND and is the proprietor of King Vocal Studio in GF.
Rehearsals: Will take place in the evening and possibly on 1 weekend day (directors will plan according to the majority of the cast's availability). Tech week will take place from Sept. 16-23 and is required attendance.
Show dates: Sept. 24-26, Oct. 1-3 at 7 pm; Sept. 27 and Oct 4 at 2 p.m.
*All performers and artistic crew receive a modest stipend upon strike of the final performance. Funding made possible by the City of GF Arts Re-grant, J.R. Simplot Co. Foundation, and the Iseminger Arts Fund.
