Lights Up Productions’ community theater invites performers aged 14 and up to audition for F. Scott Fitzgerald’s literary classic, 𝑻𝘩𝐞 𝗚𝐫𝙚𝐚𝑡 𝙂𝙖𝑡𝒔𝐛𝒚 -- a world of roaring twenties decadence, where ambition, romance, and illusion collide. At the center is Jay Gatsby, whose longing for Daisy Buchanan sets off a chain of passion and betrayal witnessed by the thoughtful Nick Carraway. This ensemble-driven story offers dynamic roles full of emotional nuance, sharp social tension, and iconic period style.
