ABOUT THE PLAY:
Ten years ago, Pastor Paul started a church that grew from a storefront to a megachurch with thousands of members. Today, the congregation is gathered to celebrate a major milestone—but Paul is about to deliver a sermon that will shake the foundation of his ministry and challenge the faith of his followers.
Lucas Hnath’s The Christians is a gripping exploration of belief, doubt, leadership, and community. It’s a play about a crisis of faith that unfolds entirely within the structure of a worship service. No matter what you believe, The Christians invites a deeper conversation about why we believe it.
