Auditions are open to the public (ages 18 and up) and will be held:
~ Sunday, September 7th at 7:00 PM
~ Monday, September 8th at 7:00 PM

LOCATION:
Richey Suncoast Theatre in Downtown New Port Richey, 6237 Grand Blvd, New Port Richey, FL 34652.

PREPARATION:
***Please prepare one minute of any lip-synced song in your favorite style. THE BIGGER AND SASSIER THE BETTER!!! You will be asked to learn and participate in a group dance combination to the "Time Warp.” Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move in.
**It is strongly encouraged that you watch the movie or listen to the soundtrack ahead of time! (Best to know what you're getting into.)
REHEARSALS:
Beginning on Sunday, September 14th, rehearsals will be held 1-2 days a week, depending on cast and venue availability.
However, this excludes Tech Week, for which we will have mandatory rehearsals all week. Once cast, actors will be expected to practice on their own at home by watching a lot of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙮 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬.
We are also exploring several promotional opportunities, where the cast will attend local events and perform a number from the show!
PERFORMANCES:
We will have SIX fantastic performances filled to the brim with debauchery on October 17, 18, 23, 24 & 25, 2025 at 8 PM, and call time will be 6:00 pm. AND A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE AT 6 PM ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19, CALL TIME WILL BE 4 PM
**IMPORTANT NOTES:
~ Auditioners must be 18 and up for this one. Sorry kids!
~ Most characters in the show are required to perform in very revealing costumes, as well as act/dance suggestively. Everyone aged 18+ is welcome and encouraged to audition, regardless of prior experience, ethnicity, disability, or identity, unless specifically indicated ahead of time.
ROLES
We do have veterans who will be returning to the cast, but no one is guaranteed any role. Everyone needs to re-audition

FRANK ‘N’ FURTER*+
Performed Age: 25-45
Character Description: A Transylvanian and the master of the castle. Welcomes Janet and Brad with open arms. Obsessed with creating a man to be part of their sexual entourage. Frank is a master of seduction. LGBTQ+ performer is preferred.
BRAD*+
Performed Age: 20-30
Character Description: Quirky, but very much in love with his fiancé, Janet. Overly optimistic at times.
JANET*+
Performed Age: 20-30
Character Description: Madly in love with Brad. Always seems to be frightened of something. Keeps losing clothing throughout the story. Appears to be emotionally weak and caves into pressure easily.
NARRATOR
Performed Age: Flexible
Character Description: Follows our two heroes’ through the story by narrating directly to the audience.
RIFF RAFF
Performed Age: 25-45
Character Description: A Transylvanian who came to Earth with their sibling Magenta and master, Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter. Resembling more of a zombie they often make harmless conversation seem awkward and foreboding.
COLUMBIA*
Performed Age: Flexible
Character Description: Columbia is a groupie and one of Frank’s previous lovers; now serves as a servant in the castle.
MAGENTA*
Performed Age: Flexible
Character Description: A Transylvanian who came to Earth with their sibling Riff Raff and master, Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter. Serves as the awkward maid of the castle.
ROCKY*+
Performed Age: 18-30
Character Description: Frank’s magnificent and perfect creation. Created with half of Eddie’s brain, they are sexually appealing and have prominent muscles.
EDDIE
Performed Age: 22-35
Character Description: Abandoned their delivery job to live in the castle. Eddie was Columbia and Frank’s ex-lover, half of his brain was used to create Rocky; A total rock and roll junkie.
DR. SCOTT
Performed Age: 28-45
Character Description: Brad’s former science teacher and close friend. He ends up at the castle while looking for his nephew, Eddie.
TRIXIE*
Performed Age: 18+
Character Description: The personification of the lips. Sultry usherette.
PHANTOMS / TRANSYLVANIANS
Performed Age: 18+
Character Description: Inhabitants of The Rocky Horror Show world.
