The Breakthrough Theatre Company will hold auditions for the Kristen Doherty drama, "Queens", on the following dates and times:Saturday, May 3, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sunday, May 4, 6-8 p.m.
*no appointments, just show up between the hours listed
SYNOPSIS: King Henry VIII is trapped in purgatory, bound to his throne by a sinister Fool and the ghostly Women in White. Here in his gilded cage, he is forced to relive the sins he committed against his queens, mistresses and people of the court, over and over again, for an eternity.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. If you have never performed in a Breakthrough production, please bring a current headshot or face picture.
All roles are unpaid, BUT we collect tips at each performance that are divided amongst the cast.

Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m.

Catherine of Aragon - Hispanic, mid 20s/mid 40s, stubborn
Anne Boelyn - late 20s/mid 30s, witty, confident, and assertive, bad tempered
Jane Seymour - late 20s, subservient and sweet tempered
Anne of Cleves - 20's, German accent, tall and thin
Katheryne Howard - 17ish, sunny personality and flirt
Katherine Parr - 30s, red hair, loved the fine things that come with royal life
Elizabeth I (25-69) - royal and regal
THE GOSSIPS (any age)
Bessie Blount - a maid of honour to Catherine of Aragon, and had an affair with King Henry
Joan Dingley - a mistress of the King, a laundress
Margaret Shelton - a mistress of the King, and Anne Boelyn's cousin
Mary Boelyn - a mistress of the King, and sister of Anne Boelyn
Jane Popincourt - a French noblewoman, mistress of the king, and maid-of-honour to Catherine of Aragon
Anne Hastings - English noblewoman and mistress of the King
