In the mountains, something is brewing. Families are divided over inheritance. Arrogance, greed, and treachery will crush honesty and brew war. The Alban Arts Center will present Shakespeare's tragedy "King Lear" against the backdrop of historical Appalachia. Parts are for 15 men and women. Auditions will have readings from the script, and auditioneers may prepare a one minute monologue from any genre, if they so choose. Audition dates March 28 & 29th at 2pm - Alban Arts Academy 2121 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans Performance dates: May 29, 30, 31 & June 5, 6, 7.
