Horizon Performing Arts & Horizon Rising Stars is thrilled to announce auditions for Disney’s Frozen Jr.! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

AUDITION FORM: Everyone auditioning must complete an audition form. Forms can be found here: https://forms.gle/FX3iBMdVNesPLG9S9
WHAT TO PREPARE: Auditionees should prepare a 1-minute song in the style of the show to sing for the audition panel. Songs from the show are OK though not preferred. Contemporary musical theatre and Disney songs are most appropriate for this production. All auditionees should have a karaoke backing track for their audition. This can be linked in the audition form or emailed to [email protected]. A Bluetooth speaker will be available at auditions. Auditionees should come prepared to move at both auditions and callbacks. Auditions will consist of either cold readings or a short movement audition. No preparation is needed for this component of the audition.
*A note on casting: Horizon Performing Arts strives to give as many kids roles as possible; however, we may limit casting due to safety, staffing, and space constraints. Please note that we may not be able to cast every child that auditions.
