The 4th Wall Players are hosting auditions for our second spring musical "Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier", originally produced by Starkid Productions, in the rehearsal space behind the H.J. Ricks Theatre in Greenfield, on January 5th and 6th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm! This production will be directed by Katherine Gibson. All Roles are available. In addition to the main characters, there are also a number of featured ensemble roles that will have lines/solos in musical numbers. There is also a puppeteer role. Characters

Princess (F) - Naive teenager yet to discern the difference between fantasy and reality. Always eager to break away and live a life of adventure. (18-25) Soprano (Solos/duets)
Aladdin (M) - Adult male loser who refuses to grow up and take accountability for his life. He uses his charm to steal everything, including our hearts. (25-35) Baritone/Tenor (Solos/duets)
Sherrezade (F) - Entertainer in the palace who falls in love with Jafar. Doubles as a narrator at points. (25-35) Alto (Duets)
Prince Achmed (M) - Visiting dignitary to the Kingdom. A violent and bloodthirsty warlord who wishes to win the Princess’s love. (25-40) Baritone (Solos)
Sultan (M) - Incompetent ruler of the Kingdom. (40-55) non musical role
Djinn(M) - All powerful and very funny magical being who lives in a lamp. (18+) non musical role.
Captain (M) - Serious and judgemental captain of the guard. (18+) non musical role
What to Prepare
Please bring with you a prepared musical piece of 8 to 16 bars, either with a backing track or acapella. You will also be cold-reading bits from the script. Wear comfortable clothes/shoes as you will learn then demonstrate a short, 8 measure bit of choreography. Resumes and headshots will be accepted but are NOT required.
Rehearsals will start the second full week of January (1/12/26) and typically run Monday through Thursday. Show dates will be April 2-4. Thursday and Friday’s performances will be at 7:30pm and Saturday’s performance will be at 2pm. If there are any scheduling conflicts, please inform us during auditions if possible.
