The Seaway Valley Theatre Company invites performers aged 18 and up to audition for this season's winter musical, "Rock of Ages."

ROLES AVAILABLE:
All manner of lead, supporting, and ensemble roles performers aged 18 and up.
THIS PRODUCTION CONTAINS COARSE LANGUAGE AND MATURE SUBJECT MATTER WHICH IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PERFORMERS YOUNGER THAN 18. DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

REHEARSAL DATES:
Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday eveninings from 7:00 to 9:30 PM at the Seaway Valley Theatre starting Thursday, September 3. Additional rehearsals on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 PM starting in January 2027.

February 12, 13, 19 & 20, 2027 at 7:30 PM
February 14 & 15, 2027 at 2:00 PM

THE STORY:
Hollywood, 1987 and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, and Heavy Metal fill The Bourbon Room, one of the Sunset Strip's last fabled venues, where legendary rocker Stacee Jaxx takes the stage and groupies line up to turn their fantasies into reality. Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star (and resident toilet cleaner) Drew Boley longs to be the next big thing. He also longs for smalltown girl Sherrie Christian, fresh off the bus from Kansas with stars in her eyes. But, the rock'n'roll fairytale is about to end when German developers sweep into town with plans to turn the strip into just another capitalist shopping mall. Can Drew, Sherrie, and the gang save the strip – and themselves – before it's too late?
