Bell Road Barn Players in Parkville, MO will be hosting open auditions for their Spring Musical January 11th & 12 by appointment only.
“The Spitfire Grill” tells the story of a young woman named Percy Talbot who has just been released from prison. She decides to start her life anew in the rural town of Gilead, Wisconsin, where she gets a job at the town’s only restaurant, The Spitfire Grill. There, she forms relationships with several other citizens of Gilead. Her outsider’s perspective and interactions with those around her contribute to the town’s reawakening and rediscovery of itself. “The Spitfire Grill” is a story about second chances, forgiveness, and the power of compassion to bring about positive change.
