THE STORY: It’s 1940. Lola Winkleman, Star of the Silver Screen, needs help. Her kid sister is missing. One man can find her - Slade Stone. Private Investigator, Gumshoe, Plain Clothes Detective, Clue Sniffer, Inspector. Sometimes Stone has to go looking for a case, but this one walked through his door - in the shape of a beautiful movie star. Last seen at the Bottoms Up Club, Slade and his partner, O’Malley, must find the little sister before the press does. Along the way, they encounter lies, deceit, deception, murder, and great laughs. Will they find the girl? Will they get the girl? Will they outsmart the press? Will they get free samples from the sponsor? Intrigue, twists, and really funny bits.
AUDITION DATES:
Monday & Wednesday, March 30 & April 1, 2026.
AUDITION TIME:
6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. REGISTRATION ENDS AT 6 P.M.
LOCATION: Inspire Theatre, 33455 Warren Rd, Westland 48185
Come early and be prepared to stay the entire time.
PERFORMANCE DATES:

Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays & Sundays at 2 p.m.
AUDITION PROCESS:
Cold Readings. You will be asked to read from the script, which will be provided at the audition. Come prepared to stay the entire time.
REHEARSALS:
A read-through Monday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Rehearsals will be Sundays 1 – 5 p.m. Mondays & Wednesdays 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
